What to Look For
Record when the referee calls a forward pass. Attribute to the passer, not the intended receiver. Don't record if the referee plays on (advantage).
Best Practices
Forward passes often result from rushing or poor communication. Track which passing combinations produce the most forward passes — it may reveal a timing issue between specific players.
